Program Blog July 2026

July was yet another full month at Cloudbridge.  We have made some improvements to our infrastructure, in order to offer an even better experience to our visitors, especially for our program participants, or student groups.  It has been great to be able to receive members of the tourism department of the Pérez Zeledón municipality visit the reserve, as part of their “Vení a Pérez” campaign.  The drone images allow us to appreciate the beautiful forest protecting the river at the reserve, and a unique view of the valley below.

This July we have also been quite happy to receive the visit of two of the board members of Cloudbridge´s parent organization, Cloud Forest Conservation Alliance.  Tom Gode has been an important part of Cloudbridge for many years, and though he usually spends the Summer season in Canada, we were lucky to receive him for a few weeks.  We are also very pleased whenever Valerie Brown is able to visit, and we greatly appreciate her enthusiasm for improving this project.  For our readers from the USA, please remember that Cloudforest Conservation Alliance is a registered non-profit organization, so any donations are fully tax-deductible.
